| The French Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands is a major contact point for French professionals and companies in the Netherlands. Its three main missions are to assist French companies to develop their commercial activities on the Dutch market, to enable exchanges and transfer of information and good practices between its members and to promote the image of France. The Chamber is a self financing foundation created in 1979 and is located in the very center of Amsterdam. It counts nowadays more than 400 members, French and Dutch, from 200 companies of all sectors and sizes. The Chamber in the Netherlands is also part of the very broad network of the 114 French chambers of commerce established in 78 countries. It is also a very close partner of the Chambers of commerce in France which gives it a direct access to all French companies. |

| The French Chamber of Commerce can offer a very broad range of services to all companies. The Chamber will accompany firms from A to Z from their very first steps on the market to their implementation and take part in the enlargement of their businesses for instance by finding new local partners and clients, recruiting bilingual employees and assisting them in legal and administration procedures through its large membersa network. The Chamber can also help companies with their payroll administration or company hosting, by setting up a Dutch address and contact point. The Chamber also assists in establishing a company in the Netherlands with the support of its bank, notary and accountant members all Dutch and French speaking. The French Chamber also provides assistance to Dutch companies willing to develop their activities on the French market. |

| France ranks 5th in the worlda s largest economies and has always counted amongst the great European powers. Its internal market is made up of 64,7 million consumers and 3 million companies amongst which 39 belong to the worlda s top 500. With its crucial geographical position, high development index and skilled labor, France is in a leading European position in terms of foreign investments, which have generated many jobs in 2010 (more than 2000 jobs in Research and Development and 1600 in logistics). France is also a major center for Research, Development and Innovation centers. Key sectors such as agriculture, transport, banks and telecommunications have traditionally been strong. France is known for being the worlda s biggest touristic attraction, with 74 million of visitors per year. Its open economy and developed infrastructure makes the French market one of the most attractive worldwide. |
